أنت داخل الممرّ المنعطف لأحد أبواب سور القدس العثماني الذي بُني بين ١٥٣٧ و١٥٤١ في عهد السلطان سليمان. الانعطاف كان يبطئ المهاجمين.

You are inside the bent passage of one of the gates in Jerusalem's Ottoman walls, built between 1537 and 1541 under Sultan Suleiman. The turn was meant to slow attackers down.
